about

"Victories" is a first person POV into the lives of The Forgotten Generation of Ireland. A generation that has been ravaged by a decade of austerity, which has seen their peers leave these shores, or stuck stagnant in the purgatory of a housing crisis.

At times like these it's important to enjoy the little things. At times like these it's important to recognise our Victories, no matter how big or small.

lyrics

Everywhere I look, doors are being closed
Everyone I see is trying to break the mould
"No Vacancies" written in semi-permanent faded ink
Like a tattoo on society, we are a people that are on the brink

We were born into silver spoons burned brown
And they've made it so clear to us, there's no room in this town
I don't know where we go from here
Ach tír gan anam, ní hé sin aon tír (But a country without a soul is no country)

Here's to all the smallest victories
Enjoy the little things, or you will cease to be
You will go insane
My life is not a game

The forgotten generation
Our lives already sold
This is not our debt
We'll never own a home

Here's to all the smallest victories
Enjoy the little things, or you will cease to be
You will go insane
My life is not a game
